The Problem
Top load washer will not agitate — tries to agitate but does not; unplugging to reset did not help. Issue began after well pump failure and restart.
The Repair
10/14: Arrived to find washer operating normally; customer reported it had resumed working on its own this morning. Original no-agitate complaint and IE error began immediately after a well pump failure mid-cycle (no water supply during fill). Customer had removed and cleaned the cold inlet screen prior to visit (reported only lightly dirty); screen reinstalled and both hot and cold water flow verified good at the washer. Checked fill and operation; no error codes present and no fault could be reproduced. Could not enter factory test mode on this unit. Unable to confirm a failed component with the washer running normally, so no parts replaced. Covered by 30-day guarantee: if the no-agitate, hum, or IE error returns, call and the return visit is covered under this service call.
