washer is broken (no further symptom detail provided)

The Repair

Whirlpool top-load washer WTW4957PW0, serial CD4001055. Complaint: completes first wash cycle, does not spin out; now will not spin at all. Entered service diagnostics and retrieved stored fault codes F1E1 (main control fault), F8E1 (long fill / water level not detected) and F2E1 (stuck key). F1E1 together with F8E1 points to a failed main control / onboard pressure transducer. Checked pressure hose and dome (clear, no kinks or air leaks), inlet screens (clean) and inlet valve (no seepage). Replaced main control board W11608056. Ran the automatic test cycle: lid lock, cold and hot fill, agitate, drain and spin all passed. Washer is operating normally.
