The Problem
Ice dispenser flapper door not staying closed; spring suspected to be broken; small black piece (smaller than a dime) fell out of the flapper assembly
The Repair
Found air damper on ice shoot broken. Hinge was broken out of the box on the door behind the user interface. Part no longer available. Helped Customer seal up ice chute with foil tape to prevent further frosting in freezer. Refrigerator/freezer/icemaker will continue to work fine as long as they are willing to put up with getting ice out of the bin instead of from the dispenser.
